Inspiration for your Luxury Baby Shower

For this luxury baby shower and gender reveal at Northbook Park, we designed an exciting concept to reveal the gender of either a ‘little prince’ or ‘princess’ whilst also making use of the seasonality of Spring as the season of new birth. We created designs to incorporate both colourways whilst referencing elegant ‘royal’ crowns and daisies, which are symbolic of innocence and purity as well as new beginnings.

For the stationery, we used an elegant yet contemporary script font for the invitations, the miniature tags and the signage in gold font to reflect the venue’s delicate gold vine leaf décor. This gold detailing would then be further picked up in some of the other elements such as miniature balloons and the elegant, contemporary cutlery. 

Our feature installation was a beautiful fireplace arrangement combining abundant spring buds and blossoms intertwining with a huge asymmetrical pink and blue balloon arch, with petals and lanterns free-flowing around the base.  This theme was continued across our table design which featured custom made chairs, featuring our bespoke monogram crown design along with stunning floral backs, perfectly mirroring the flowers in the tablescape. Pretty floral arrangements in pink and blue, offset by elegant taper candles completed the scene.

Particular highlights of the floral design were the floral cloches, each teasingly showcasing the tiniest cashmere baby booties in both colourways and a stunning intricately hewn white iron crown which we filled with flowers and set atop a floral Perspex tray.

The chic and minimalist place settings allowed the stunning coloured glassware to really pop, and napkins were tied simply in silk ribbons with a flower as décor. Each guest also had a cupcake treat at their place setting and a personalised iced biscuit.  

We styled miniature Champagne bottles with adorable bespoke tags and created mouthwatering cocktails such as pink gin spritz and blue lagoon as a fun way to reflect the colour palette whilst styling accessories included traditional nursery toys such as iconic Liberty London teddy bears and vintage style nesting suitcases.

For afternoon tea, we set up dessert tables in both colourways filled with luxury patisserie, beautifully reflecting the theme in their detailed designs. The grand finale was when the baby’s gender was finally revealed by way of a gorgeous celebration cake.
